John Myers

Senior Pastor/Elder

John Myers is the Founding Senior Pastor of Congregation Shemen Sasson, a vibrant, growing congregation located in the heart of Jerusalem’s business district. He is a former bank president, a position from which he resigned in 1991 when he and his family began preparations for their immigration from the United States to Israel. In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, John travels internationally, teaching about God’s end-time purposes for Israel and the Jewish people. He is noted for solid, balanced, inspirational biblical preaching and teaching and an openness and transparency to share from his life experience. He also serves with other leaders in Jerusalem, facilitating fellowship, citywide prayer initiatives, and cooperative efforts to advance God’s purposes for the city.

John and his wife, Dariel, have six children and twelve grandchildren.
